Tonight episode of extreme cold at 4 am, quickly wiped with a fleece that I had prepared for the purpose, then new morning sun. Released from the camp, distracted by my thoughts, I miss the turnoff for the ferry that I should take when I realize, paper in hand, calculating that the back would take me more time than do the way I expected that the two ferry would be avoided. What is more, so I will be faster, since the ferry times have very dilated. The road follows the contour of a fjord in the usual snow-capped mountains that are reflected, as I pretend not to see them or I would stop every mile to take pictures. About miles, I'll make about 300 today, a walk than usual, because I come to Alta at 16.30 and I can enjoy the museum of stone carvings. (Renna!) In practice, it is a path from the museum that is above the cliff to the beach and back, around an hour and a half of calm walk, stopping to admire the etchings of men who had done 6000 years ago. The day was warm with sunshine, and suddenly, with the sun, begins with a summer storm of large drops. It lasts a moment, but carries a lot of moisture and a lot of mosquitoes. After the museum I jump in populous, but is completely anonymous, with degrees in Construction cube containing department stores. I head to the campsite better than Norway and they pitch a tent.
